Application Process
Applying for a Service Dog is a big step, it requires commitment, drive, and the willingness to learn.
It can be a rewarding experience, but GAP has several requirements set forth. These requirements apply to all students of the program.
At a minimum you must:
-Be able to commit to showing up to classes for a couple hours each Sunday until your Service Dog graduates.
-Follow training techniques, and put time and effort into your Service Dog outside of class hours.
-Pay for dog food, basic equipment, and veterinarian expenses (help is provided on a case-by-case basis)
-Respect your service-dog-in-training and ensure you're representing GAP Service Dogs in a positive light
*Failure to comply to these basic guidelines could result in the forfeiture of your service dog*
